When the huge Lawson cattle ranch is left without heirs, rival factions across Australia see a chance to take control. The series was filmed in the Northern Territory and South Australia in places so remote they are barely inhabited, let alone shown on screen.
as well , the sets are spectacular, a big part of the show
Locations include Kakadu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with special permission from the traditional owners, and Tipperary Station, a real cattle station, so big it has its own airport and school… … I imagine like many, waiting for the return of The Newsreader, that Territory will pop up… I will watch almost everything Anna Torv does… like her style, her grace and her acting talent… Territory, the Australian version of the American Yellowstone, a mega-ranch under siege from all sides, with family members fighting against all odds, sometimes against each other… well done, it’s a large-scale production, with soap opera drama, good acting and high production values…
Torv now in her forties, calm and graceful
all the actors play their roles admirably, with a fairly predictable and routine script… the casting is fine for the most part, only one member is a little out of place, but he does well enough…
always confident and capable of playing any character she’s given
not another Kelly Reilly, both women make their respective series worth watching.. .if all viewers like it, they’ll be looking forward to more seasons…
all fans are certainly hoping for that
„next episode” marks it as a „returning series”…
