Line of Events
Follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Buddingham as their long-standing rivalry comes to a head. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner previously starred in Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was used for the portrayal of Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC television adaptation of Poldark. Very easy and exciting spectacle, absolutely pleasant. Great characters, story lines, drama and music from the 80s that you can sing along to. David Tennant once again plays a fantastic antagonist. Aidan Turner is amazing as always. The cast clearly enjoyed filming, and it shows in the series. So many talented actors and actresses in one program. The series begins comically and becomes more dramatic as the episodes develop. The series remained faithful to the book and the nature of the 80s. The characters are pleasant and it’s easy to fall in love with them. I finished each episode wanting to see the end. Hope for the second season!
